Leaders of One Acadiana continue search for new President & CEO
Lafayette, LA – One Acadiana, a regional economic development organization, has retained Jorgenson Consulting, a national executive search firm located in Greensboro, NC to assist in the search for the next President and CEO. Jason El Koubi, who led the organization since inception in 2015, resigned in July to serve as executive vice president of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.
Kathy Bobbs, President & CEO of the Women's & Children's Hospital along with Don Broussard, CFO of The Lemoine Company are leading a Search Committee of 13.
"One Acadiana has made great strides in the last two and a half years in the areas of regionalism; policy initiatives including workforce development, transportation infrastructure, and public education; governmental affairs; and business leadership and engagement," said Bobbs. “Our organization is leading efforts to make our region more competitive, and we are eager to fill this role with someone who embraces this opportunity as well as the unique culture of South Louisiana."
Todd Jorgenson, Managing Director and Principal, met last week with the Search Committee and a number of other partners and leaders in the region to develop a profile that will outline the experience and leadership characteristics of the desired candidate.
