It was quite an experience for two of Acadiana’s newest lawmakers, who were thrust into a budget crisis in early 2016 that took 19 weeks at the state Capitol to fix — temporarily.
New House members Jean-Paul Coussan and Blake Miguez, both Republicans, are now preparing for 2017.
